  • Children's Mass
Families are encouraged to plan to attend the 10:30 Mass on the 1st Sunday of each month. As a special welcome for all children, the celebrant will invite them to sit on the steps of the altar while he engages them in his homily.

    Faith Formation Inclement Weather Policy
Faith Formation will continue to follow the decision of Harford County Public Schools regarding cancellations. If HCPS cancels classes for the day or all afternoon, evening and weekend activities, all Faith Formation classes and programs will be cancelled. Families also will receive emails and/or texts about any cancellations or schedule changes.

    Inclement Weather Policy
Parishioners are asked to use their best judgment when deciding to go out during inclement weather to ensure their safety and that of their families.

    Daily Masses
Generally, we will be open for daily Mass during inclement weather at the regularly scheduled times. However, for the safety of our parishioners, our pastor will assess the weather and roads and if necessary, will cancel one or both Daily Masses.  Any changes or closures will be announced on the website and through Flocknote.
9:00 AM Mass – Saturday Morning
IF there is SNOW OR ICE, in all likelihood, the parking lot will not be cleared; so we ask that you be extremely careful if coming to Mass.
    Adoration
If inclement weather is anticipated, changes will be announced on the website and through Flocknote.
    Weekend Masses
Weekend Masses will be celebrated as scheduled.
    Parish Activities
In the event of inclement weather, any change to scheduled parish activities will be announced on the website and through Flocknote.

  • 2025-26 Faith Formation Registration Is Closed. Please contact our office to help get you connected

With nearly 500 students and many volunteer teachers and aides, St. Ignatius' Faith Formation program is an active and vital part of our parish life. Through the Office of Faith Formation, St. Ignatius provides catechesis to the children and youth of our Parish whose regular school curriculum does not include instruction in the Roman Catholic Tradition.

Faith Formation at St. Ignatius implements the six fundamental tasks of catechesis: Promoting knowledge of the faith, liturgical education and the sacraments, moral formation, teaching to pray, the life of the community, and evangelization - the building and mission of the Church. The program provides extensive resources for both parents and catechists.

To learn more about our Faith Formation programs for all ages, click on the program boxes below.  When you have decided which programs best fit your family's needs, follow the REGISTER link above to get directed to our online registration site.  All registrations are done online. Early registration is recommended for best choice of programs and to benefit from monthly tuition payment plans.

Our staff is here to support you!  To reach the Faith Formation Office, call 410-879-0959, Monday-Thursday, 8 am-4 pm, or email one of our team.
